Prefill Valves
Prefill valves, because of their size and the fact that they are nearly always attached directly to the press, are generally tailor made for each customer.
However, they all have two design features in common:
- They must ensure absolutely that the high pressure and low pressure circuits are never linked.
- They must allow very high flows whilst offering carefully controlled switching in order to avoid water hammer.
The examples below illustrate these points admirably.
